Job Description/Requirements
As a Power BI Developer, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Enable data modeling and develop calculations in DAX which are performant on large datasets
- Perform transformations in the Power BI query editor using a mixture of UI and M code
- Utilize navigation features in Power BI such as bookmarks, drill-through to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story
- Provide technical support and guidance through prototyping, testing, building, and launch of Power BI products
- Develop production-ready reports, dashboards and deploy it to the corporate platform
- Work in DevOps environment for solution delivery and CI/CD and version control mechanism
- Integrate Power BI in existing front-end applications through Embedded
- Configure Premium capacities for optimized performance
- Translate business problem into analytics problem and choose right tools and methodology
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or Relevant experience required
- Technical certifications in multiple technologies are desirable
Mandatory Skills/Required Skills
- Should have proficiency in writing SQL, DAX, and M query
- Must have an in-depth understanding of how the Power BI Service works
- Should have knowledge of full suite of Power BI products (embedded, Report Server, Premium), paginated or SSRS reports
- Should have US healthcare domain knowledge especially in provider domain
- Must have good understanding of Power BI REST API and orchestration of automation operations (even using PowerShell)
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of SSAS (Tabular and Multi-dimensional), Flow and Power Apps foundational will be an added advantage
- ETL experience is preferred
